I believe everything said made a lot of sense. However, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I am not saying your information isn't good., however what if you added a headline that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create article headlines to get people to click. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
